"Narcan Nate"

Nathan Smiddy, also known as “Narcan Nate,” is a harm reduction and education advocate who works through A New Path, a local non-profit organization that works to reduce the stigma associated with addictive illness through education and compassionate support. Nate, who has overdosed twice and struggled with opioid addiction himself, provides Naloxone and overdose training to individuals and organizations in and around Oceanside, California.
